If a person brings false charges against you but then drops them?

before you go to court, do you have the right to sue for damages and spent attornys fees?If a person brings false charges against you but then drops them?
Well yes .

But really the state only presses charges, with them as a witness.

So if this was the case, they themselves should be looking at purgery or corruption of and investigation charges themselves by the state.

Once they are charged with that , Then being found Guilty

Then your Civil suit of false imprisonment will be undoubtedly granted using the 2 cases of evidence to this 1.If a person brings false charges against you but then drops them?
if charges were brought against you, then you were arrested? right? if you were arrested then the cops had to have reasonable doubt to arrest you, to sue, you have to prove that there was emotional damage to you as well as loss of income and to do this will require you to hire a lawyer again
Yes, you can. It is a crime to knowingly and intentionally bring charges against someone. You can sue for things like defamation of character and lost time/money as a result of this.
