If you have a false pretense charge on you background will that prevent you from getting a job at teletect?

The charge was for 3 bounced checks combined into just 1. So i plead no contest and they decided to give me a year probation.

Im not sure if yall know what teletech is, but it's a customer service call center for bank of ameria.

So im wondering will that charge keep me from getting a job there. If you have a false pretense charge on you background will that prevent you from getting a job at teletect?
Assuming the charge you pled out was a misdemeanor, then it is not an automatic black mark, UNLESS you must be bonded to hold the job, then it will be a problem. Most bank employees (like tellers) must be bonded, but call centers are a little looser. If you handle customer account information (credit card numbers, balances, etc.) then you may run into a wall. If it's telemarketing, answering help questions, etc. then they probably don't care.

When I worked for Wells Fargo, not only did I have to be bonded, but they also told me that if I ever bounced a check or got a bad credit rating then it would be grounds for dismissal.

Best of luck.If you have a false pretense charge on you background will that prevent you from getting a job at teletect?
