Btoh of these are basically when someone lies about what happened right? BUT.. is it more like they lied with intent to hurt someone, or they didnt LIE but fabricated the story because they were nervous.Question about false rape charges and perjury?

If you have falsely accused someone, it does not matter the reason...the sooner you come clean the sooner that person's name is cleared.





In jail/prison rapists are beaten, and killed, they are the lowest of the low. If convicted of rape, a person can spend up to live in prison. This person can lose their jobs, their homes, their families, and even on the streets vigialante justice can be harmful to them, as others in the community may hurt or kill them.





You will simply be called a liar, or perhaps face a fine, most likely some community service or something...which is NOTHING compared to what you could be putting someone else through.





Please do the right thing, before a life is destroyed.
First of all, people don't fabricate a story because they are ';nervous';. They fabricate a horrible story against an innocent person because they are a PIECE OF S**T.

Nervous or not, a lie is a lie, and a lie to a Court or under oath is prejury. Perjury is a crime. If you lie to a court, I don't give a good god damn what your excuse is, you should be punished for committing a crime.
