i have never been in any kind of trouble with the law or anything.i never did anything to this person she just started making repoerts on me after her daughter slapped mine,they are only 7 and they still play together at school, but the other parent is keeping this an on going problem,by making false reports she ven went and got a restraing order on my kid and me.what kind of person is she.Someone filed a false police repoert on me now i am facing class b battery charges what can i do?
The burden of proff rests with her. If she is reporting these things to what I assume is the same L.E. agency then they will get tired of her pretty quick and the number and nature of reports will diminish her credibility. With that said when deadling with manipulative people like this it is best to thoroughly document each and every interaction until this is resloved.
Just because she filed a report doesn't mean you will be charged by a long shot. Misdemeanor non-domestic battery (assuming that is the case) is going to require an affidavit and warrant if it is not witnessed by an officer.
