Is it common to make false charges of domestic violence to gain leverage in a divorce case?

no that is bullshit selfish and Sooo wrong, you are not just messing with custody or visitation but soon to be exs life. if he or she ever has a job they need to have a CORI check for etcIs it common to make false charges of domestic violence to gain leverage in a divorce case?
It sure is common! A woman will do anything to make themselves look better, to get what they want. It doesn't make it right. In fact it makes you look more like what you are. What a way to set an example for your children. You should be happy your ex wants to be involved with the kids, if that's the case. Fight fair and make sure you do the right thing for your reputation or children. Is it common to make false charges of domestic violence to gain leverage in a divorce case?
Why would you want to do that? I can understand that you dont like your ex much, but a false allogation of domestic violence can ruin the other persons life. Seriously. Dont be childish. Take the high road-life does go on after divorce. Not only that, but if it is ever found out that you lied, then you will be the one who gets in trouble. Just move on with your life.
I wouldn't think it would be common.......... though my ex did once file a false report with Child Protective Services when we were re-doing the visitation order.

Some people....... men and women...... will pull out any trick they can to get what they want. Doing that in a divorce situation... when there are kids involved... is inhuman
Yes it is correct because if a person does not like her or him they want to get out of him or her. for this they search some reason to blame. and domestic reason is very common and easily available.
Probably,it is definitely illegal tho,and if its proven that it was a false allegation...you will get in some trouble...and it will look bad on you in the case.
Women lie their a$$es off during a divorce to get the upper hand . just go to divorce court and listen to some cases .
I don't know if it's common but it probably happens more then it should.
Yes
